On April 2, 2026, the AIPV 2026 Digital & Intelligent Photovoltaic Conference, hosted by the Jiangsu Photovoltaic Industry Association, was held in Nanjing. Golen Power was invited to attend and was honored with the “AIPV 2026 Smart Energy Storage Application Demonstration Product Award,” showcasing its strong technical capabilities and proven project execution in the energy storage sector.

The award recognizes outstanding microgrid energy storage products with successful deployment across diverse global scenarios, particularly in challenging environments such as islands, high-altitude regions, and remote areas in Africa. Golen Power’s solutions integrate key technologies including grid-forming energy storage and seamless on/off-grid switching, delivering high adaptability and reliability across complex operating conditions.

During the conference, the Group Standard Committee of the Jiangsu Photovoltaic Industry Association was officially established. Mr. Zhang Haibo, Chairman of Golen Power, was appointed as Vice Director, while Mr. Sun Bangwu, Vice Chairman, was appointed as a committee member. These appointments reflect strong recognition of the company’s technical expertise and industry influence, and mark a deeper involvement in advancing standardization and high-quality development within the PV and energy storage sectors.
At the “Digital & Intelligent PV” session, Dr. Xie Lei, Chief Engineer of Golen Power, delivered a keynote presentation titled “Energy Storage System Solutions for Diverse Microgrid Scenarios.” Drawing on extensive project experience, he outlined system design approaches and key technologies tailored for complex environments such as weak-grid, off-grid, island, mining, and C&I applications.

Dr. Xie highlighted that with the acceleration of the dual-carbon strategy and large-scale deployment of distributed energy, microgrids—integrating generation, storage, and consumption—are facing common challenges, including complex load characteristics, coordination difficulties, and risks in on/off-grid switching. Golen Power addresses these challenges through core technologies such as grid-forming PCS, integrated PV–storage systems, and seamless switching control strategies, forming a comprehensive microgrid solution portfolio covering small-, medium-, and large-scale applications.
He also shared multiple benchmark projects, including PV–storage–diesel microgrid systems in high-altitude regions of Tibet and large-scale grid-forming microgrid projects in Africa, demonstrating Golen Power’s capabilities in grid-forming energy storage, distribution-level storage, and integrated PV–storage–diesel–charging solutions.

From high-altitude plateaus to remote islands, and from African deserts to urban commercial zones, Golen Power continues to deliver safe, efficient, and intelligent microgrid solutions across diverse scenarios. Looking ahead, the company will further advance innovation in grid-forming technologies and energy storage integration, contributing to the global energy transition and the realization of zero-carbon goals.
